He developed a photography project in Corviale together with Local communities. During his residency he stayed in the neighbourhood and he discussed with the people to know different stories. At the end he realized a sound installation and photos’ review. Sounds recorded directly in the district and a group of singer composed a rap song for the installation.

STREET KIDS, 2020
Photographs B/W
The lithuanian photographer and photojournalist Mykolas Juodelė in his practice is in constant search of stimuli, feeding off stories, testimonies and everyday images. He developed his photographic project with Latitudo Art Projects, focusing his studies on the novel The Street Kids written by Pier Paolo Pasolini, who observed the lives and rules of the “street” in some of the city’s suburban neighbourhoods in Rome. For this reason during the entire period of the residency, Juodelė lived in the Corviale neighbourhood (in the southeast outskirts of Rome), searching for our modern-day “street kids” and immortalizing the spirits of the people he met in a series of black and white photographs. The use of non-colour was a conscious choice, to give the photographed subjects a timeless air. This selection of photographs tells the stories of the residents and shares the spirit of this multifaceted and complex neighbourhood of Rome.
